The Seymour Freemasons Lodge is a non-profit member of the United Grand Lodge of Victoria. It represents the international fraternal association of Freemasonry which promotes charity, service, tolerance integrity and diversity.

- promote best practice in sustainable agricultural production and land management;
- encourage research and education in agricultural and land management issues of concern to the local region, including the awarding of scholarships and other incentives;
- provide a forum for the sharing of knowledge of agricultural practices and production and land management;
- disseminate information to the general community and to particular audiences on agricultural and land management issues by conduction shows, seminars, field days, exhibitions and other appropriate functions;
- assess and, where appropriate, support the development of new agricultural and land management industries, proactices and technologies;
- undertake activities to ensure that appropriate traditional agricultural and rural crafts and skills are maintained for posterity;
- provide a forum for fellowship and social interaction for members;
- develop a positive relationship between urban communities and the agricultural and rural communities
The Society conducts its annual show on the first Saturday in October at Kings Park, Tallarook Street, Seymour
