Seymour Multipurpose Walking Trail
The 4.5km track follows the Goulburn River and is suitable for wheelchairs, walkers, joggers, cyclists and skaters. It begins behind Somerset Winery and ends at where Whiteheads Creek enters the Goulburn but can be accessed at numerous points. The Trail affords the opportunity to view some magnificent scenery, historic sites and native wildlife. Viewing platforms, seating and picnic tables are located throughout the walk.

The Goulburn River is classified under the National Trust as a heritage river. The historic bridge, a remanant of the old route from Melbourne to Sydney, is still intact however not accessable. Pylons from the original wooden punt wharf are also still clearly visible. Along the river trail keep an eye out for birdlife such as currawongs, sacred kingfishers and wood ducks. Mammal species such as eastern grey kangaroos, koalas, common brushtail possums and platypus are also present but sometimes are harder to spot.

Seymour Heritage Walk
Old Court House in Emily StreetThe walk begins at the Old Court House in Emily Street and takes about 45 minutes. It goes to 19 historical buildings and sites dating from 1853 including the first Post Office, School, Hotel and Jail. The map outlines a brief history of each site from its beginings and is available from the Seymour Information Centre.

Seymour Heritage Drive
This drive takes you to 41 historical buildings, sites and parks dating from 1839. It commences at the Goulburn River Bridge built in 1892 and ends in the Scenic Heritage Listed Trawool Valley and is rich in railway and military history. A map of the drive with a historic background of the points of interest is available from the Seymour Information Centre.
